Presenting the new VIP whip!

hey guys, sorry for not posting much recently. we’ve been busy renovating the shop and taking care of a bunch of things. I just wanted to post up some videos of the new VIP shop car we’ve been working on! it’s a Zenki S14 with an LS1 crate motor in it. so it definitely packs a punch! outside it’s got 19×8.5 and 19×9.5 +35 MRR HR2 Wheels with the Supermade Instant Gentleman kit and Kei Office coilovers. for more info you can check out the build thread on Nissan Pacific in the link below.

Asmar’s SR20DET swap

so we’ve had pictures of Asmar’s second SR20DET swap he did with us a little bit ago and they somehow never made their way to the customer installs section. I’d like to say thanks to Jamie for coming back again to get some more goodies of his painted. John did another awesome job of color matching his paint without seeing it and sprayed Jamie’s Front lip for his S13. he had his 180sx side skirts painted previously and was very happy with them. click the link here to see more pics.

I’d also like to thank Asmar for comin back after a SR swap that was done in his S13. this time he’s rolling in a kouki S14 and working on getting a turbo setup installed on his KA. pics will come soon for that.

hey everybody, we just had some new decals made here at kami dori!! if you’re interested in rockin one stop by the shop, or contact us to get one!^_^ i’ll post up some sample pics of what they look like a bit later. also on a side note sorry for the lack of activity on the site. it’s been a pretty busy spring for everybody here as we definitely felt the rush of Golden Gardens, and then the XXX rootbeer meet. we’ll still try and keep you guys updated on a little more frequent basis. to start off i’ll give you guys a teaser. we’re currently building a 240sx coupe for a customer that is gonna be insane from looking at the plans we’ve laid out so far. stay tuned for updates as well as a link to a build thread possibly. well that’s all for now! take it easy and feel free to contact us if you have any questions/comments.

Hey everybody, so we’re proud to announce that we’ve finished our first full build here at kami dori. Jason was more than willing to put his S13 under the knife and let us go to town and do an S13.4 conversion with a blacktop SR20. if you’re curious about what it looks like i’ve added a new full build section in the media here.Because Jason had a full build by us he got a sweet little built by tag for his new Kami Dori decal. If anybody has interests about a full build, or even just general questions feel free to contact us!

Updated JDM Motor Info & Prices

hey guys, there’s been alot of questions regarding the new motorsets we’re getting here at Kami Dori. so, that way nobody’s left in the dark i’ll clarify some stuff for you guys.

The full motor set includes the engine, trans, turbo(s), manifolds, uncut harness, ecu, etc.

also on a side note I don’t usually stock any motors, it just takes up space honestly. I would be willing to ship it to anybody, but that’s probably going to be a lot more then gas. so, if you can find a truck it would be slightly easier. Also, the motors are only about 7 days out, so it’s not too bad of a wait.

Basically after the motorset, you’ll want to get a down pipe and intercooler setup. Stock sidemounts are available for $100 for sr20’s.

getting full front clip is a lot of wasted materials and is just more on shipping, so I can pass on the savings! I tried to price these to where you can afford to have the engines installed with 3″ down pipes, front mount intercooler kits, and radiators upgraded from the get go

also, keep in mind, we can place orders anytime and they always keep a steady steam of sr’s, rb’s xJZ’s in stock! Here’s a list of prices from some of the questions people had

Due to the breaking down of our economy and rising prices, I’m forced to add the shipping charge of $200 to each engine set. If having a swap done though, we might be able to work that into the price =) Sorry for any hassle on this one.

The 2JZGTE With VTI will run $3200, auto trans, uncut harness, ecu, turbo, etc. full motor set shipped here to the shop.

The 2JZGTE without vti runs right at $2000 for the full motor set also.

the 1JZ for $1000 comes with uncut harness, Ecu, turbo, manifolds, etc. just minus trans since the manuals are harder and harder to get nowadays.

1jzgtte engine with the 5spd. trans is $2300 shipped

Kami Dori now getting JDM Motors

Hello to all! I have been getting many many questions about finding motor sets for people, so I finally got things worked out with a supplier out of Canada, so even if everyone else down in the states are out of engine sets, the stock times are offset, so they usually have them in abundance!

There are many many more Models Including Toyota, Mazda, etc. but please pm for further info on other models!

Already there’s a flood for the jz prices lol. I believe these are with the auto trannys, but I’ll be finding out for sure in the next day or so, plus about having Soarer 1j’s also.

1JZGTTE motor set $1000 w/o transmissions!

2JZGTTE motor set $2000! with trans and everything!

Each motor set has a 30 day engine block/head warranty, if the block and head are found to be cracked, they will be replaced for free! This is also contingent on the motor not showing signs of miss use, (EX. boost up w/o proper tuning, etc.) that will void any warranty.

The motors are on a buy in basis, I will not stock any motors, simply swing by drop off the price for the engine set and it will be here in usually 5-7 working days. I don’t have the room for storing engines and dealing with front half cuts. Plus this cuts down cost for me and you!

Installation is based with a 91+ S13 chassis, or S14 chassis, 89-90 S13 chassis will have to find a tach and dohc steering lines for the conversion.

Installation for sr’s w/o buying from us is an even $1000 for s13/s14 either way. I do make a better deal for buying an engine set through us!

Kami Dori Now Dealing Sikky Manufacturing!

Hello to all! We at Kami Dori are always trying to bring the NW the best products out there and a leader in the LS1 S13, S14 and 350z Engine swaps is Sikky Manufacturing! They have come out with a true bolt in kit, not requiring ANY modification to the front cross member and minimal to no tunnel mod needed! They offer everything from The bolt in kit, to the power steering setup to many options on long tube headers!

*Installation available starting at $1000 for the COMPLETE swap!

This is the S13/S14 bolt in kit, They run $1650 and consist of the following,
Race high capacity front sump oil pan
Oil Pickup tube
New Dipstick
Steel Driveshaft (Aluminum available for +$200)
Transmission bracket
Transmission bushing/mount
CNC engine mounts
Oil Lines and Filter relocation block for easy access
Filter and All gaskets and hardware necessary to bolt the LSx into the S chassis!

You can also add on the Power steering kit, which will let you simply hook up the power steering, it’s $120

They also have multiple sets of headers for the S chassis swap,
